A plane that had been due to leave Uzbekistan on Friday had to be delayed by nearly four hours due to a fuel shortage.
The plane landed in the Italian port of Lodi on Thursday afternoon and passengers were informed of the delay after it landed.
“Due to fuel shortage we were forced to rescheat the trip.
The flight was delayed by over four hours.
The fuel supply has been restored,” a source close to the flight told Il Messaggero newspaper.
Last night the plane was still waiting to depart.
Earlier this morning, the Uzbek government announced that the plane, which was due to fly to Milan on Thursday, had been cancelled due to fuel shortages.
