Air tickets for Russia’s upcoming air show have been posted online.
The Russian Ministry of Transport says it will be flying about 5,000 military, security and civilian personnel to the Novo-Ogaryovo International Airport in Kazakhstan for the upcoming airshow from July 12 to August 1.
It says a total of 1.5 million tickets have been sold and that tickets have already been distributed to all ticketing companies, hotels, restaurants and transportation providers.
It also says there will be no restrictions on the number of visitors.
There will be some restrictions in place in the airports, but we have no specific information on those,” Russian Transport Minister Alexander Motlakov told reporters Monday.”
We will announce the exact details soon, but I think we are going to have a big show in Kazakhstan.
Our guests are coming from all over the world.
“He added that the total cost of the airshow will not exceed $1 billion, though it will not be sold at auction.
Motlakov said the goal is to create the world’s largest air show in the history of the world.
Russia has a large military presence in Kazakhstan and is hosting the air show from July 11-13.
It is a part of the Eurasian Economic Union.
